We accomplished seven day Intro to Mountaineering course, learning  basic rock and alpine climbing surviving skills. The first two days we practice multi-pitch climbing and rock rescue on the Chief – Squamish. The last five days from May 24th-27th we were in Cerise Creek – Duffey lake road. Tricky spring  conditions forced us to stay low. Cornices are still big in Cerise Creek, with lots of snow on the peaks. Sun and rain effects made us travel slowly and smart. Lots of  natural slides anywhere in the afternoon. Thanks to Matt and Gareth for making this trip happen. And thank you Keit’s hut for keep us warm and dry.
