SUMMER INTRO MOUNTAINEERING COURSE

A great course that will open your eyes to a new world of mountaineering. No previous experience necessary. We will start in Squamish and will review climbing fundamentals such as Basic Safety Systems, Belaying, Rappelling and Rescue Techniques and of course, a lot of climbing. We will explore in the wilderness, and find our way to the High Alpine camp using Fundamental methods of Navigation. There we will establish a camp just a stone's throw away from the Glacier. Our days in the Alpine will be focus on Snow Travel and Climbing, Glacier Travel and Crevasse Rescue, Alpine Weather, Alpine Rescue and Team Building work to stay safe and enjoy the Alpine region.

COURSE COST: 1,145 $ + gst (min. 3 persons)

This course will include a Pre-Trip Session a week prior where the guide
will discuss Trip Planning: Clothing, Food and Equipment requirements.
